Gymnastics Schools :
Gymnastics is, without a doubt, one of the most beneficial physical activities children experience. When the gymnastics program is structured and presented correctly, children realize benefits, in the areas of physical fitness, self-esteem and life skills, that serve them for a lifetime. Class time is about 1/3 time tumbling, 1/3 time trampoline, 1/3 time apparatus. Tumbling is the foundation of all gymnastics and a great amount of emphasis is placed on it. Trampoline is important because it is an excellent place for gymnasts to learn somersaults and twists, and trampoline is very helpful for developing the space awareness that is so important in gymnastics. Apparatus, especially bars and rings, are important because this is where the student will develop upper-body strength that is needed for gymnastics.
